Timber Sales

Timber HarvestAchieving optimal timing for timber sales is important not only for proper forest management but also to maximize returns for landowners. We are careful to plan timber sales achieve these objectives. When conducting a timber sale, our primary goal is to receive the highest possible price for the timber offered for sale while protecting the integrity of the property and preserving its long-term management options.

We market timber only to reputable timber buyers and oversee every aspect of the sale from timber marking to harvest clean up.

Before harvest begins we mark the sale area and property lines. It is important to delineate property lines and sale areas as well as map out timber sale areas using an existing GIS map or creating a new timber type map.

Our timber sale contracts stipulate the terms and conditions of the sale. These terms and conditions are designed specifically for the individual sale to ensure the best results. We supervise all logging activities and enforce the terms and conditions of the sale.

All timber sales are designed to protect site productivity and water quality following Best Management Practices (BMP’s).

Food Plot Installation
Planting and maintaining food plots is one of the best ways to produce larger, healthier animals while increasing the number of deer your property can hold. In the southeast the most stressful times for white-tailed deer are the late summer and mid-winter. In summer many of the plants deer use become less palatable and of little nutritional value. At this time mast crops have not fallen yet and deer are unable to find something to eat. In the middle of the winter fewer sources of food are available for wildlife.During these periods food plots can also greatly increase the amount of deer your land can support.

We work with landowners to identify optimum food plot locations, size and plantings.
